Privacy policy

This policy explains what the public static QR studio processes, what may stay in your browser, and what limited technical information the hosting service may receive.

Last updated August 5, 2026

Scope

This policy applies to customqrgenerator.com and the public static QR creation pages operated under the Custom QR Generator name. It does not govern third-party websites that a user enters into a QR code or opens through an external link.

Information processed in your browser

The QR payload, visual settings and export files are generated on the device using browser-side code. Payloads can include links, plain text, Wi-Fi credentials, vCard contact details, email or message content, events, locations, social links and payment information. Imported logos are also processed locally for preview and export.

Drafts, saved palettes and reusable design settings may be stored in browser storage. They remain associated with that browser profile unless you export them, clear site data or use a browser setting that removes local storage.

Technical request information

Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure necessarily receives technical request data such as the requested URL, timestamp, IP address, browser identifier and response status. This information may appear in security or access logs used to operate, protect and diagnose the site. We do not use the static QR payload as server-submitted form data.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

The public studio uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-2DTM55HNTF under Google Consent Mode. The tag is present so the site can communicate consent consistently, while analytics storage, advertising storage and personalization default to denied. Before permission, Google may receive limited cookieless consent and measurement signals; after Analytics is allowed, standard analytics measurement and browser storage may operate. QR payloads and imported logos are not intentionally sent as analytics events.

No advertising code is active. If advertising is introduced, this policy and the cookie notice will be updated before activation. Where required for users in the EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland, advertising will not be activated without an appropriate Google-certified consent management platform and legally required choices.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell QR payloads or imported logos. Limited technical logs may be processed by hosting and security providers acting to deliver and protect the website. They are retained only as reasonably necessary for operation, abuse prevention, troubleshooting and legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

You can remove locally stored drafts and preferences using the browser’s site-data controls. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection regarding personal information held by the operator. Send requests to support@customqrgenerator.com. We may need enough information to verify and respond to a request.

Children and international use

The service is a general-purpose creation tool and is not directed to children under the age required for independent consent in their jurisdiction. The website may be accessed internationally; local privacy rights can vary by location.

Policy changes

Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@customqrgenerator.com.
